Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 30, 2026  ยท  Applies to the Inkwell mobile application (iOS and Android)

In plain terms: Inkwell is a writing app โ€” books, daily journal entries, to-dos, and notes. Everything you write is yours. By default your writing is stored on your device; if you turn on optional cloud sync or account features, that content is stored on our servers solely to make it available across your devices, encrypted in transit, and never sold or used to train third-party advertising profiles. Edit the bracketed placeholders below (company name, contact email, jurisdiction, hosting providers) before publishing.

1. Who We Are

Inkwell ("Inkwell", "the App", "we", "us", "our") is a mobile application, designed for writers to draft books, keep a daily diary, manage to-do lists, and take notes. This Privacy Policy explains what information the App collects, how it is used, where it is stored, and what choices you have. It applies to the App and any related services we operate (such as optional cloud sync).
